Youth visits to aged care homes are more than heartwarming, they’re transformative. These intergenerational moments breathe life into spaces that can sometimes feel isolated, offering joy, purpose, and renewed energy to residents who may not receive regular visits.
The presence of children naturally uplifts spirits, often reducing feelings of isolation and boredom, stories come alive and young visitors learn kindness, respect, and the value of inclusion.
We recently partnered with Treehouse Early Childhood Centre to bring joy to residents and spark moments to make our community feel energised and uplifted. The day was a wonderful celebration and captured beautiful interactions helping to combat loneliness and foster emotional wellbeing amongst our community.
