Meet BCAC’s Payroll and Data Analyst Officer, Krishna Priya Murugesan. With a rich and varied career spanning over two decades, Krishna brings a wealth of experience and a passion for helping others.
After completing her education studying Electronics and Communication Engineering, Krishna first started her career as a lecturer in 1996 in India, where she discovered her passion and strength towards teaching.”I loved the work where I met young minds. The profession made me develop my continuous learning.”
During Krishna’s time teaching, she advanced into professor, head of department and accreditation controller positions across different engineering universities in India.
Krishna’s personal experience of caring for her parents and grandparents while they suffered significant health issues all while looking after her infant son has also played a major role in her approach to her work.
After migrating to Australia in 2013, Krishna decided to choose a field that had meaning and that would utilise her skills. In tribute to her parents, she opted to serve those in Aged Care working in a non direct care role, saying, “And here I am at BCAC as a Payroll Officer.”
In her new role at BCAC, Krishna is responsible for payroll processing and data analysis and is committed to providing exceptional care and support to all residents and their families.
