We’re proud to announce that Bankstown City Aged Care’s Chairperson Kevin Hill has been awarded the Order of Australia Medal for his service to local government.
Well done, Kevin!
Everyone who knows him is aware of the extraordinary effort he puts into everything he does. The local stalwart and retired veteran Bankstown councillor has invested 40 years into public life; he was first elected to Bankstown Council in 1977, and served as Mayor at various stages throughout 1985-2001.
He joined Bankstown City Aged Care in 1983 as Director, and is now the Chairperson.
Kevin is passionate about providing care for the elderly. Over the years, he’s helped to fundraise more than $10m in community donations for the creation of aged care facilities.
He’s also involved in nurturing Bankstown’s future generations, and has played an integral role in pushing sister-city relationships which benefit hundreds of thousands of young people in Bankstown and surrounding suburbs.
We couldn’t be prouder to have Kevin in our ranks, and we wish him ongoing success and happiness in everything he does.
