Falls remain one of the most significant health risks for older Australians, affecting independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. They are also a major contributor to injury‑related hospitalisations and deaths among older people nationwide.

Keeping active is essential for healthy ageing, and there is strong evidence supporting ongoing, balance-intensive exercise programs for elderly Australians. These programs help improve strength, stability, and confidence which are key factors in reducing falls.
